Cupping massage therapy

An Ancient Science
60 minutes   €70

This treatment uses dry cupping during massage. Cupping therapy has been used for centuries for immunity, muscular adhesions and lymphatic drainage. Suctioned cups are moved in a smooth fluid motion over the surface of the skin, releasing stuck tissues such as the fascia and muscles in which they cover. The lift that the cups provide, essentially works as a deep tissue treatment, without pain. This therapy brings fresh blood to congested/stagnated areas. Moving cupping is used during massage over larger muscle groups. Spot cupping are cups that are placed in areas of tight muscle and fascia to ease adhesions and unstick tissues to gain better range of motion ultimately relieving pain. Benefits: Muscle pain and stiffness - Frozen shoulder - Headaches - Restricted mobility - Increases circulation throughout the body - Alleviates fluid retention - Boosts lymphatic drainage - Boosts immunity - Improves sleep - Helps common colds - Relieves asthma.
--- Disclaimer --- Discoloration can occur post treatment. Some discoloration is normal and expected and is an indication of tight areas. Dependant on skin type, some people will discolor quicker than others. When done properly you will not be left bruised. Those who should avoid cupping treatment - On blood thinners, Those with blood clots &Haemophiliacs.
